A page has appeared on the official PlayStation website announcing the standalone version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered.

At the time of writing, the only way to get the remastered version of the PS4 game is by purchasing Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. But now it has its own list on the PlayStation website, fans are now speculating that it could be teasing an imminent standalone release, particularly since there is no mention in the fine print on the page that you can only play if you buy the Sony exclusive. , Miles Morales. Of course, it is possible that this is simply a bug and right now, and it doesn’t seem like players can buy the remastered version without Miles Morales. We reached out to Sony for confirmation either way – watch this space.

In case you missed it, Insomniac Games recently rolled out an update that adds Performance RT mode to Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. The new mode in update 1.002 offers an alternate version of the 60 frames per second (fps) performance mode and adds ray tracing by adjusting “scene resolution, reflection quality, and pedestrian density.”

It joins the existing modes Fidelity, which offers ray tracing effects at 4K / 30 fps, and Performance, which focuses on 60 fps at the cost of ray tracing.

When it emerged that players would not be able to import their save data from the original game, Insomniac quickly responded to complaints by promising that it would work to get the update to players “around Thanksgiving.” However, the feature was available a few days ahead of schedule.
