Good news if you are wondering where to buy PS5. The coveted console is back in stock, though it’s likely to sell out quickly.
Sony Direct currently has stock of the PS5. You will need to queue in line before you can get the console, but stock is back at the Sony US store (We are currently in line with a wait of “over an hour.” After waiting 20 minutes, our time was reduced from “over an hour” to just 15 minutes).

It is worth noting that just because you have a place in the queue does not guarantee that you will have a chance to buy it. Sony clearly states that “PS5 consoles are limited and not guaranteed, even if you are in the queue.” Once you have reached the front of the queue, you will hear a chime (make sure you have the sound on) and you will be redirected to the PlayStation Store. You will then have 10 minutes to continue with your purchase. You may also need your PSN account or you may be asked to create one.
Don’t lose hope if your estimated queue is longer than an hour. Status can change quickly and you may have a shorter wait than expected. Either way, it’s a good sign that Sony will hopefully have more PS5 stock in the coming days as we quickly approach the holidays.
Additionally, Newegg confirmed via tweet Earlier this week, the PS5 will be stocked sometime in the “third week of December.” (No dates or times were given).
