If you expected to see more of Sony’s upcoming PS4 Samurai game Ghost of tsushima You’re lucky. This Thursday’s “State of Play” will be entirely dedicated to showcasing more of the open world game of Infamous developer, Sucker Punch.

The game takes place during the Mongol invasion of Japan. You play like Jin Sakai, one of the last samurai on Tsushima Island.

Sony says the presentation will last around 18 minutes and will include “an extended look at new gameplay footage, including exploration, combat, and more.”

The presentation will launch this Thursday at 1 p.m. PT / 4 p.m. ET. You can see it in Twitch or Youtube.

Ghost of tsushima It is one of two PS4 exclusives to be released this summer. A month before its launch, the controversial Naughty Dog The last of us part II lands It is a game that I also really want, controversy for the leaks and that the studio is condemned.

Somehow I am wishing Ghost of tsushima even more, however. It doesn’t look so bleak on the one hand. It is a completely new IP, for another.

Sony is quick to note in the announcement of this upcoming State of Play that there will be no PS5 news at all. I’m still not sure if we should wait Ghost of tsushima to launch on both PS5 and PS4, although it will be compatible with previous versions.

One way or another, we should know a lot more about this game on Thursday afternoon.
