The Sims 4 team will present a detailed livestream of the new Sims 4 Snowy Escape expansion pack in late October. The official trailer for the pack was released this week and will be released on November 13, 2020.

The live broadcast will take place on October 30, 2020 at 11:00 Pacific Time (20:00 South African Time or 18:00 GMT). Players will be able to watch the broadcast live on the official YouTube and Twitch channels for The Sims.
The Sims 4 Snow Escape: What We Know So Far
Some of the new features of the pack have already been revealed. We know that the world will be both residential and vacational and will be called Mt. Komorebi, a Japanese word that means “sunlight that filters through the trees.”
New skills and activities include climbing, skiing, and snowboarding, and Sims will have the option to explore the snowy world in various ways.
While the new world is affected by weather, players do not need The Sims 4: Seasons expansion for this new expansion pack to work.
The Sims 4 Snowy Escape will also add the ability to use different levels in building mode, that is, different floor heights, a feature that will likely be implemented in the base game in a prepackaged patch.
The pack will also include an update on the Sims’ relationships, featuring lifestyles and feelings. While more details still need to be added on what exactly this feature means, the description in the official blog post looks promising.
