Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost are now officially husband and wife, following a secret intimate ceremony over the weekend.
The news was confirmed by the Instagram account Meals on Wheels America, although neither Johansson nor Jost have yet publicly commented on the news.
“We are delighted to break the news that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and loved ones, following Covid-19 safety precautions as directed by the CDC,” announced the community organizing in an Instagram post. “Your wedding wish is to help make a difference for vulnerable seniors during this difficult time by supporting @mealsonwheelsamerica. The couple got engaged in May of last year, after two years of dating. The actress met Jost, who is a writer and comedian for Saturday Night Live, in 2017 after she made a guest appearance on the show.
Johansson and Jost are the latest celebrities to choose to announce personal news through a charity or organization they are passionate about, to help bring attention to their work and encourage fundraising; Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom announced the birth of their son through Unicef, while Amanda Seyfried and her husband Thomas Sadoski confirmed the arrival of their baby through Inara and WarChild.
