We recently posted a Black Friday deal detailing this epic $ 80 deal you save on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7, with the opinion that it could be a great Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 10-inch streaming device. With Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you can stream dozens of games from Microsoft’s servers to any Android device, including megahits like DOOM and Destiny 2. You do have to pair an Xbox controller, though, which isn’t always the most ergonomic. What if there was a tablet that had controls similar to those of the Nintendo Switch?
Say hello to this interesting solution from IPEGA.
To get the full 14% discount, you need to click Use coupon which is just below the price on the Amazon page, the additional discount will be applied once you make the payment.

This IPEGA solution doesn’t seem like the fanciest, but it might be the best we have at the moment for turning an Android tablet, like some of these in our best Xbox Project xCloud streaming tablets roundup, into a portable Xbox.
The IPEGA Gamepad uses telescopic arms to fit almost any size tablet (or phone!), And connects to an Android-compatible device (not iOS, sorry) via Bluetooth. It is fully compatible with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate cloud streaming of the recommendations we’ve received, as well as a variety of other native Android games. However, a quick read of the reviews seems to paint a slightly mixed picture for Android games, with some games simply designed for touch, rather than a controller.
The IPEGA Gamepad also requires you to install another app, which doesn’t seem to be the most polished. Still, if you are interested in at least trying To turn your Android tablet into a portable Xbox Game Pass machine, this is worth experimenting with, even if you end up returning it. I am going to buy one myself for a more detailed writing on Windows Central in the near future.
