The wait for Samsung’s next Galaxy S series is apparently coming to an end, although the leaks keep coming. After Samsung shipped invite to an event unpacked on January 14 on Sunday nightMonday brought our first look at what the new S Pen and S21 Ultra case will look like.
Images, courtesy of WinFuture, show the S Pen and a compatible S21 Ultra folding case, which pen users may want to use, as the case will have a place to store the S Pen when not in use. Previous rumors have suggested that the S21 Ultra will not have a place on the device to store the optional accessory.
As with Samsung’s Galaxy Note line, the S Pen on the S21 Ultra will support gestures and actions to scroll, take photos, or play and pause videos. The site reports that the S Pen will sell for € 40 (roughly $ 50, £ 35, or AU $ 65).
Samsung did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The addition of S Pen support to the Galaxy S21 comes as rumors circulate that Samsung finish production of its pencil-laden Galaxy Note line by the end of this year to focus more resources on its foldable phone line, which includes the Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy Z Fold 2.
