Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 May Launch June 2021

Samsung’s first folding phone got off to a stuttering start. However, with the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the company has redeemed itself a bit. And we are already hearing rumors about what the next model might offer.

According to the Korean publication Ajunews, Samsung could launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in June 2021. The publication also said that the Korean tech giant could introduce its under-screen camera technology to make the phone more attractive. However, if the images turn out to be unsatisfactory, the company could put the idea aside for this generation.

Besides this, the Z Fold 3 could also be S-Pen compatible. Ajunews said that Samsung is developing ultra-thin glass technology that could be used to include the digitizer to support the stylus while maintaining the durability of the screen. Additionally, the foldable device will also have a dedicated S-pen slot, just like the Note series.

The report also noted that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S21 Ultra might also be S-pen compatible, but the device won’t have a slot for it. Earlier this month, insider Jon Prosser suggested that the company might launch its next flagship in January.

This new report will add fuel to previous rumors that the Korean phone maker is ditching its Note series to promote its foldable devices.
