Samsung’s next flagship phone could arrive in January 2021, Android Central reported. And the new leaked renders show that the Galaxy S20 camera bump will also appear on the next Galaxy S30 (or S21; the name is not official yet).

According to trusted leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka @OnLeaks), the standard model of the Galaxy S30 will have a 6.2-inch flat screen with a perforated front camera. The S30 Ultra features a larger curved screen measuring between 6.7 and 6.9 inches. However, the leaks do not provide details on the internal specifications of the phones.

Android Central It says three new Galaxy S models are expected at the January launch, a Standard, a Plus, and an Ultra. The Ultra model will have an S-Pen stylus, says Hemmerstoffer, but there doesn’t appear to be a dedicated slot for the stylus. The camera bump on the Ultra appears to be twice the size of the standard model and can have up to four lenses, according to Hemmerstoffer; He guesses it will include wide-angle and ultra-wide angle lenses plus a telephoto or periscope. The Ultra’s flash will be housed within the bulge.

If the new Galaxy S models launch in January, that would be weeks before Samsung’s traditional late-February deadline. And, as Android Central points out, it would be the closest Samsung has ever scheduled a new Galaxy S phone to launch to a new iPhone release – iPhone 12 models will launch later this month and early next.
