Although Samsung has already invited consumers to go ahead and indeed make an order Its next flagship Galaxy S device, today the company teased the Galaxy S21 once again. In a 30-second reel highlighting the industrial design of its flagship multi-generation Galaxy S family, Samsung underscored that it will be a new year with “new ways to express yourself” with “the next Galaxy” arriving in 2021.. And while we can’t really get a glimpse of the Galaxy S21 in this new teaser titled “A New Galaxy Awaits,” there have been numerous leaks detailing some of the high-end features of Samsung’s next-gen Android flagship phone that is expected to debut at the latest. next two weeks, in concert with him now fully digital Room CES 2021. Here’s a quick rundown of what to expect …

First, it is rumored that there will be three device models, as follows:
- Galaxy S21 Ultra: 6.8-inch Infinity-O-Edge (AMOLED display), 3200 x 1440, 120 Hz refresh, 1,600 nits
- Galaxy S21 Plus: 6.7-inch Infinity-O (AMOLED display), 2400 x 1080, 120 Hz refresh, 1300 nits
- Galaxy S21: 6.2-inch Infinity-O (AMOLED display), 2400 x 1080, 120 Hz refresh, 1300 nits
All of these devices are rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 888 platform for US models or Samsung’s Exynos 2100 platform in some other regions. I am particularly interested in how the Galaxy S21 powered by Snapdragon 888 will perform, as I hope it will offer a significant boost on several levels, especially with regard to computational photography. The Galaxy S21 Ultra is also rumored to be backed by 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of storage options, while the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
According to HotHardware, the size of the battery will also vary. The Galaxy S21 Ultra is reportedly backed by a 5,000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 will run on 4,800 mAh and 4,000 mAh batteries, respectively. All three are compatible with Qi wireless charging and I would expect the higher power fast charging options to make recharges super fast too.
Camera-wise, there are multiple reports that the GS21 Ultra will again bring a 108MP primary shooter with a 12MP ultra-wide camera, but also dual 10MP telephoto cameras and a 40MP front camera. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus are rumored to wield a 64MP main / telephoto combo shooter, two 12MP ultra-wide-angle shooters, and a 10MP front camera. These quad camera arrays apparently also have similar sensor arrays as the Galaxy S20 series, but again, with the help of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888, they bring new tricks like the “triple hybrid optical zoom.” That said, I’d take these camera specs with a grain of salt especially (as with pretty much everything at the rumor mill) because camera details for the new Galaxy S21 series have been all over the place.
Of course, all devices will have some kind of 5G connectivity, although it is unclear if both mmWave and Sub-6 will be compatible with all devices. Finally, when it comes to color options, the well-known filter Evan Blass has already given us images of the devices themselves, pointing out shades like Phantom White, Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, Phantom Violet and Phantom Pink.
And that’s about summarizing what we know so far about Samsung’s next Galaxy, but stay tuned for details to come in the coming weeks. With Samsung already taking pre-orders on these devices, you know that we’re getting very close to the official launch.
