Samsung has started rolling out the November Android security updates for the Samsung Galaxy S20 and its other Galaxy smartphones to fix a number of serious security vulnerabilities in the operating system.

The update also fixes a critical remote code execution bug and a high one in the Android media framework, as well as a high severity escalation of the privilege bug and a moderate one.
When it comes to the Android system itself, the update addresses four high-severity disclosure errors, a high-severity escalation of the privilege error, a high-severity DoS error, and a critical remote code execution error. The Android Security Bulletin explains that the critical security vulnerability in the Android system component is the most serious of all the bugs fixed, and says:
“The most serious of these problems is a critical security vulnerability in a system component that could allow a proximate attacker to use a specially designed transmission to execute arbitrary code within the context of a privileged process.”
While most Samsung Galaxy smartphones will receive the latest security update that fixes all the bugs detailed above, some Galaxy devices like the Galaxy S10 5G received a security patch a few days earlier that does not address all vulnerabilities present in Android. . OS.
