We’ve heard rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S21 might not change much when it comes to the design of the Galaxy S20 series, and some leaked new versions of the Galaxy S21 Plus suggest that might be the case.
These images come from Pigtou, and were made in collaboration with leaker. @ xleaks7. However, it’s worth noting that none of those are established names in the phone leak business, so take these pictures with a pinch of salt, even for reasons we’ll see.
Here it is! The complete #Samsung # GalaxyS21Plus / # GalaxyS30Plus look based on leaked CAD drawings. + 4k video + dimensions Thanks to my partners at @pigtou_ – https://t.co/VsrrPfIYbg Follow for more content! #Android pic.twitter.com/JwvsjDUxxCDecember 1, 2020
In the images we see … well, there’s no better way to describe them than by saying that the phone shown looks almost identical to the Galaxy S20 Plus (shown at the top of this article). There are only two real differences.
The first key difference is the camera bump, which in the render looks slightly different as the block merges seamlessly with the phone’s frame, whereas on the Galaxy S20 it was a distinct block.
The second is that these images do not show a curved edge screen, where the S20 had this feature. Previous rumors have suggested that the S21’s screen will not have curved edges, which lends some credibility to this aspect of the renders.

Disagreements exposed
The design of this Galaxy S21 + is very nice, especially the back, but the front is inaccurate. For the front design, see the fourth picture. pic.twitter.com/0C0Ocm036CDecember 1, 2020
Shortly after the aforementioned images were released, the esteemed leaker @UniverseIce claimed they were incorrect when rendering the phone screen. They reposted the images, along with an additional image showing what they think the screen will look like.
While the differences between the images in the original post and those of @ UniverseIce are minor, the latter’s display has slightly thicker bezels and a larger cutout for the front camera.
We expect the Samsung Galaxy S21 series of smartphones to launch in January or February 2021, and when that happens, we will know exactly what the phones look like and if there are any significant changes to the design of the Galaxy S20.
