- Samsung is reportedly working on a phone with a 7,000 mAh battery.
- The phone could be called Galaxy M12 or Galaxy F12.
Samsung has revealed several budget phones with huge batteries in the last 12 months, offering capacities of 5,000 mAh or even 6,000 mAh. This size means that the two day endurance should be easily achievable, depending on your activity and the rest of the spec sheet.
Now, it appears that Samsung is upping the ante even further as 91mobiles reports that the company is working on an inexpensive phone with a 7,000 mAh battery. In other words, this battery is larger than some of the company’s tablets, such as the Galaxy Tab Active 3 and Galaxy Tab A 8.4.
The size of the battery means that we can probably expect two or even three days of power, which makes it ideal if you spend a lot of time away from a charger or power bank.
91mobiles They also got images that apparently show the device’s casing, revealing the model numbers of the SM-M127F / SM-F127G, as well as what a quad rear camera setup might be. Take a look at the images below.
It’s also worth noting that there doesn’t seem to be room for a fingerprint scanner on the back. Instead, Samsung may be opting for a side-mount fingerprint scanner built into the power button.
The outlet says that the phone could probably be called the Galaxy M12 or Galaxy F12. The M12 designation would suggest that it is a continuation of the Galaxy M11, launched earlier this year. That phone had an aged, lightweight Snapdragon 450 chipset, a triple rear camera (13MP, 5MP ultra-wide, 2MP deep), and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging. So hopefully, we’ll see significant updates across all. scopes with the new phone.
This wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen a phone from the Galaxy F series if the device adopts the nickname Galaxy F12. Samsung previously launched the Galaxy F41 in India last month, as a sort of rebranded Galaxy M31.
