Luxembourg, February 16, 2021. – Baikonur News: An unmanned Russian Progress 77 carrying more than a ton of nitrogen, water and propellant to the International Space Station (ISS) launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan yesterday, NASA said.
The refueling ship reached preliminary orbit and deployed its solar panels and navigation antennas as planned for a two-day appointment on its way to meet with the orbiting laboratory and its crew members, the US agency said.
After making 33 orbits of Earth on its journey, the spacecraft will automatically dock to the station’s Pirs docking bay on the Russian segment on Wednesday.
