In a press release, Milestone broke down some of the improvements that are coming for Walk 4 on PS5 and Series X compared to current generation hardware. Unsurprisingly, graphics and frame rates will get a noticeable boost on the new consoles, but racers will also face tougher competition on the track.

Gamers will now be able to experience smoother and brighter gameplay at 60FPS with up to 4K resolution. Milestone also revealed some intriguing details about the PS5-specific enhancements that Sony’s new DualSense controller offers. There are vibration functions to mimic specific types of terrain, as well as unique haptic feedback for acceleration and braking. Walk 4 Digital pre-orders for the October 8 PS4 and Xbox One launch are also available now.
