The full trophy list for the Demon Soul PS5 remake has been revealed shortly before the game’s release on November 12.
The list comes via Powerpyx, and details that to get that shiny platinum trophy, “The Slayer of Trophies,” you will need to have 5 gold trophies, 9 silver trophies, and 22 bronze trophies in your hands. With a total of 37 trophies in total, there are plenty of challenges to overcome as you dive into Bluepoint Games’ remake of FromSoftware’s release for PS3 in 2009. If you’d rather not spoil any of the challenges yourself, it goes without saying that you should probably avoid looking at the trophies.
As detailed in the list, you will earn a bronze trophy for each boss that you successfully defeat, but there are also silver trophies that you can earn by meeting certain parameters when facing particular bosses. An example is defeating the “Idol of Fools without hitting any clones”, or taking down the Knight of the Tower “without killing any archers”.
There are also a number of collectible challenges, such as finding each ring to become the “King of the Rings”, which will earn you a gold trophy, in addition to obtaining all the magic spells and miracles in the game. Rings will take a good chunk of your time, that’s for sure.
In addition to the boss fights and all-ring quest, there will also be some multiplayer trophies to win. With online support, a trophy implies that you help another player defeat a boss, while another less friendly sees that you have to eliminate a player as an invader.
Ahead of the game’s release, we’ve already seen the remake’s gameplay, along with an additional portion of footage in a recent State of Play video. Demon Soul’s photo mode and character creator were recently detailed, as well as features like a classic filter option, different modes for 4K and high frame rates, and over 180 videos for PS5 activity suggestions.
