A new report claims that 38-year-old Prince William had a fairly severe case of COVID-19 in April.

The Sun says William kept the news private because he did not want to alarm the public. His father, Prince Charles, 71, had already been diagnosed, along with Prime Minister Boris Johnson, 56, who ended up in intensive care.

William reportedly isolated himself at Anmer Hall, where he was treated by a royal physician. A source revealed: “William was hit quite hard by the virus; it really left him six … At one point, he was struggling to breathe so obviously everyone around him was quite scared.”

The insider continued: “After seeing the doctors and testing positive, which was obviously a huge shock given how fit and healthy he is, William decided he should continue as usual. He was determined to keep his commitments. ”

Despite the diagnosis, she participated in 14 phone and video engagements in April, including the opening of Birmingham’s Nightingale Hospital and a virtual Comedy Relief skit.

People reports that his wife Kate Middleton and their children Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2, did not contract the coronavirus.
