Update (Sunday 6 September 2020 07:30 BST): According to Bloomberg video game reporter Jason Schreier, Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia Remake It will reportedly be revealed at Ubisoft Forward next week, which will air on September 10.

Schreier shared this information on the most recent Triple Click podcast. Here’s what he had to say (thanks, Pure Xbox):

“… they had been planning a new Ubisoft Forward, where they were going to announce a bunch of games like the Prince of Persia remake that was leaked a couple of weeks ago. That [event] is scheduled, it was announced today as for next week, September 10. “

VGC has also backed Schreier with its “own Ubisoft sources,” indicating that the claim is correct.

Original story (Thursday, August 20, 2020 03:15 BST): According to a local and online retailer in Guatemala known as “MAX”, Prince of Persia Redo is coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 this November.

Bloomberg video game reporter Jason Schreier has apparently endorsed this list. On twitter:

“Video Game Retailers Will Love Filtering Surprise Ads From Ubisoft”

One individual said that no believe it and the industry insider told you your tweet wouldn’t age well.

So what is this supposed remake? Video game historian and Nintendo Life contributor Liam Robertson thinks so could be based on the “original” Prince of Persia game (if real). Of course, there have also been a lot of reboots over the years.

Ubisoft will host its next online broadcast (Ubisoft Forward) in September. If this list is legitimate, we assume we will hear more about it.
