Boeing lost customers to 14 737 MAXs in its stored inventory last month, but sold 12 of that existing backlog, bringing its total number of slim bodies built and unsold to 92, an analysis from Aviation Week shows.
The increase in cancellations leaves Boeing with about 20% of its existing 737 MAX family inventory unsold, 7% more than Aviation Week’s figure calculated two months ago.
