PlayStation 5 Timed Exclusive Godfall Gets New Trailer Ahead Of Console Launch

Microsoft announced the price and release date of its Xbox Series X and S last week. While it made many Xbox fans happy, all eyes were on Sony as fans waited for an announcement on the PlayStation 5. Fortunately, they got their wish when the PlayStation Showcase was announced for September 16.th. Now, in an attempt to increase anticipation, Sony has revealed a new trailer for one of its timed exclusives.

Godfall made his debut at the previous PlayStation Showcase event. The looter and killer RPG looked impressive and wowed the fans. It had a striking similarity to the God of War title due to its combat mechanics, but it also brought a lot more to the table. Take a look at the trailer below.

Godfall Battle Trailer for PlayStation 5

Sony also released a new Godfall combat trailer a couple of hours ago. It showed the movement of the game’s characters in combat, the different types of enemies, and the cooperative mode. Check out below.

This trailer also highlighted the ability of players to exploit enemy weak points that will be advantageous in combat. It also showcased the online cooperative PvE mode where players can join up to 3 friends.

This announcement came at an interesting time considering that now all the hype is directed at Sony. Xbox made its move last week and now it’s Sony’s turn to do the same. This new Godfall trailer showcased the next-gen graphics capabilities of the PS5. Plus, it gave potential PS5 buyers an added incentive, as it’s a timed exclusive for PlayStation. This only helped Sony’s cause in its fight against Microsoft in the ‘Console War’. The game was also announced for PC and more information will be revealed at the PlayStation event on September 16.
