Platinum Games has released an entirely new action game, World of Demons, exclusively on Apple Arcade.
“To defeat the demons, you must master them,” scoffs Platinum in the short description of the video. “Jump into the mysterious world of the yokai with Platinum Games ‘new hack n’ slash game, World of Demons.”

There are more details about the official website, too. Platinum says that players will take on the role of a samurai leading an army of yokai minions as they “embark on a mission against evil.”
“The game is set in a beautiful setting inspired by traditional Japanese artwork with magnificent scenery drawn from ukiyo-e woodcuts,” the team explains.
“Along the way, they will encounter samurai allies and a collection of yokai, each with their own techniques and combo possibilities. Players will expand their arsenal of skills to conquer all enemies in front of them, eventually facing the enemy. fearsome Shuten Doji, lord of all oni.
“Sharpen your steel as this samurai story is about to begin.”
Apple Arcade has seen tremendous growth in recent months, to the point where it has become the largest mobile game subscription service in the same way that Xbox Game Pass has taken over that space for consoles.
That said, not all fans are happy to see the exclusivity.
