The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) of the Pakistan Polio Eradication Program today signed a Letter of Agreement to work together in the mission of polio eradication in the country. .
Through this partnership, PCB and NEOC will carry out a wide range of activities to raise awareness of the importance of polio vaccination.
Within the framework of the association, to achieve the common goal of polio eradication, various visibility campaigns will be organized during cricket events to raise awareness about the acceptance of the vaccine in the country through the active participation of the cricketers across Pakistan.

Pakistan is one of two polio endemic countries in the world along with its neighbor Afghanistan.
Pakistan is currently facing a difficult situation in eradicating polio with the number of polio cases increasing. So far this year, a total of 80 (November 6, 2020) cases of polio have been reported, including 23 from Baluchistan, 22 each from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh, and 13 from Punjab.
