Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba lifted the lid by walking away from the club to join Juventus in 2012, saying his brother was a big influence on the decision.
The 27-year-old entered the academy at United but struggled to get into the senior team, making just three Premier League appearances in the 2011-2012 season.
After becoming one of Europe’s top central midfielders at Juventus, he returned to United in 2016 for a world record transfer fee of £ 89 million, but is now being linked with yet another move.
Speaking to the UTD podcast, Pogba recounted how his brother encouraged him to pressure him to move initially due to his lack of playing time at Old Trafford.

“My brother, the United fan, told me he was really angry, even more angry than me, when I didn’t play,” said Pogba.
“He said to me,‘ No, go away. You can play on this team. If they don’t want you here, go somewhere else. They will see’.
“My mother always said to me:” You will go somewhere but you will return. “She always said this. She was like:” We will see. “
“But you know the mothers and the things she said, ‘You will come back here, don’t worry,’ and that was right after. She said you would go back to Manchester, don’t worry, and I did.
“When I came back, I was really happy to come back. I left it and I wasn’t finished. I started something but I didn’t finish, I just went somewhere else. To finish it.

“Obviously, going back to where I started was for me, why I was really happy. Now I’m ready to come as a confirmed player, not a youth player. “
Pogba was thought to be close to being in top shape after battling an injury before the season was suspended due to the current coronavirus crisis, and it remains to be seen if he will appear again on a United jersey.
