HomePod mini is a small and affordable version of the original HomePod that has some common features between the two. It also shares the acoustic principles of the original HomePod. The intercom function present on both speakers allows users to send messages from one device to another, within the room or in multiple rooms. The intercom function can be used on various devices, including CarPlay and Apple Watch. The mini speaker also provides updates via Siri regarding traffic, weather, news, and more.
