OnePlus reportedly has an entry-level smartwatch and phone in the works

OnePlus is reportedly working on a smartwatch and a new entry-level phone, according to two reports. First, a OnePlus Watch is now in the works, according to a TechRadar report on Thursday that quotes a former OnePlus employee.

[OnePlus] “He has been actively researching a smartwatch for the past year,” the former employee told TechRadar, adding that a wearable device has been seen in a listing on the website of the China Infocomm Media Development Authority.

The Chinese smartphone company is also working on a new entry-level phone codenamed Clover, according to Android Central on Friday. Clover would be priced at just $ 200 and available to buy in the United States, according to the report. It would reportedly feature a 6.5-inch HD + screen, three rear cameras (13MP, 2MP, and 2MP), 4G LTE connectivity, and a 6,000 mAh battery.

Clover will also run Android 10 and feature a Snapdragon 460 chipset.

the OnePlus Nord 5G phone was released in July, though not available in the US High-end 5G enabled OnePlus 8, released in April, is available in the US.

OnePlus did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
