They are useless and most smartphone manufacturers never provide really useful features like Samsung’s notification border and are only used for aesthetics and to give a ‘premium’ look.
Take a look at Apple as an example. They never put ridiculous things on your screen, but they still give it that premium look. Also, the curved screen costs more to build than the flat ones and is more difficult to apply a screen protector. Get the Mi 11 with 4 curved sides if you really want a curved screen or an S7 edge with that huge curved screen. 🙄✋

If I see that OP really improves the cameera, maybe … I can think of buying this op 9. The op 8t is the worst phone camera I have used and I sold it after 3 weeks of using it. I can’t stand the camera on that phone. To be fair, the usability of the phone is great, but I also need good quality photos and videos.

I’ve gotten so used to 2-year warranties as standard here, I really didn’t think it wasn’t the case in most of the world … Well, it’s good that OP is offering 2-year warranty now.

I’m not happy with the OnePlus 9 and 9r flat screens. A flat screen is a deal breaker for me. For those who yell, I’m not as clingy as you when handling the phone. I’m going to look at the screen a lot and can’t afford the sour bezels on the sides. Now, most flagships have curved displays, including the same oneplus 9 pro that is coming. I feel cheated when I pay an exorbitant price on the flat screen. 🗿

Most phones in China have only one year warranty, some have 18 months (like Redmi note7 series), but you can buy an extended warranty at a low price. (For example, if you buy a Mi11 from My store, you only need to pay 159CNY / around 20Euros to get another year warranty, for low-end phones like Redmi Note9Pro5G (Mi10T Lite in China), you only pay 49CNY / around 6Euros for one year extended warranty)
