OnePlus is expected to bring a “T” update to its OnePlus 8 smartphone with slightly updated design and specifications. Now tipster Ishan Agarwal is giving us a possible release date for the OnePlus 8T: October 14.

The 8T is expected to come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel with an updated 120Hz refresh rate and a punch hole for its 32MP selfie camera. The phone is expected to ship with the Snapdragon 865 along with 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage.
The camera setup should be similar to the OnePlus 8 with an improved 5MP macro lens and an additional 2MP depth helper. Also, it will sport a new square shaped plate underneath.
The battery is said to have a 4,500mAh capacity and supports 65W Warp charging capabilities compared to the OnePlus 8’s 30W offering.
As for the opening ceremony, rumors claim that we will see an online-only event similar to the OnePlus Nord event. The company’s new affordable Buds Z TWS earbuds are also expected to drop alongside the OnePlus 8T.
