At the top of the OnePlus list, however, is the new visual UI design, perhaps the most divisive change in OxygenOS 11. Some have compared it to Samsung’s copy of the One UI aesthetic, but OnePlus has argued that the changes were well thought out and researched to accommodate growing smartphone sizes and user behaviors.
OxygenOS 11 also offers a quick dark mode switch, an updated Zen mode, new Game Space tools, and more. The update will come out via OTA so there is no flashable image yet. Older OnePlus phones may have to wait a bit for their turn, perhaps after the dust settles around the OnePlus 8T next week.
