While it seems likely that Sony will release such a model eventually (and probably a smaller one, given its massive size), there is only one way to get a black PS5 at launch this holiday.

When Sony posted a video of an engineer disassembling the PS5, it was immediately clear that it was very easy to remove the faceplates from the sides of the console. That led people to assume that PS5 skins were going to be a big thing down the road, and look at that, here we are.

I don’t know who owns this site, all I know is that they are not officially affiliated with Sony, which I mean, it’s not a surprise and it’s true for all third-party manufacturers. I suppose it could be a risk to spend $ 40 on these plates and have them come and don’t fit right, but if you want a custom unit, I guess that’s the chance you take (the site offers rebates).
