Every December, companies like Spotify and Tiktok give you access to an overview that shows how you used their services over the past year. Nintendo is one of those companies. Now that we are only a few days away from 2021, the gaming giant has changed its annual Switch review tool for 2020 live. Like the 2019 version, it will reveal the Switch games that have taken up the most of your time in recent months. It will also let you know how many hours you have played so far, so you can compare it to last year and find out how much more time you spent playing amid COVID-19 crashes.
The year review also includes a list of your most played games, which dictates the result you will get on the dashboard that shows what kind of player you have been this year. You can then download a graphic of that dashboard that you can share on social media. In my case, I got “Nintendo Fan”, since I mainly played titles published by the company.
