Nintendo apparently has more mobile titles on the way

[ad_1]

It seems that Nintendo is going to invest more in mobile devices, since it seems that they will have more titles in the future. For a few years now, the company has been dabbling in the middle with a few select titles. The main ones are Mario Kart Tour, Dr. Mario Worldand Super mario run. Along with titles from other franchises like Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Dragalia Lostand Fire Emblem Heroes. Some of them have had great success with a player base that continues to thrive, while others are off to a good start, and then people slowly lose interest over time. There is no way to predict from Nintendo’s perspective what a great game will be and what will be a failure in this medium, as they really have no control over some factors like selling a game on their own consoles. But it seems that they are not giving up and, in fact, they are doubling.

Some retail outlets picked up a brief mention during the question-and-answer segment of Nintendo’s most recent financial results conference call, in which the president of Nintendo Shuntaro Furukawa We chatted with investors. You can read the full report here if you want (and if you can read kanji). During the session, Furukawa confirmed that the company would continue to support all the titles they currently have on the market and that they are currently producing several more that are in the development stages as we speak. But no new games were mentioned during the call, so we have no real idea what those games might be or what characters they would feature. So if you dig into what the company is currently doing with mobile gaming, you have some amazing new titles to look forward to in the years to come.
