While it is publicly known that Nicki Minaj gave birth on September 30 this year, she had revealed little else about her baby. Now, she’s posted some adorable Instagram photos of her son, which she shares with her husband Kenneth Petty.
Referring to his son as ‘Papa Bear’, the rapper thanks him for ‘choosing me to be your mom’.
Minaj wrote: “#Daddy Bear thank you very much for choosing me to be your mom 🎀🦄🙏, “she wrote.” I wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year. Thank you for your love and support during this journey. It meant a lot to me. Becoming a mother is by far the most satisfying job I have ever taken on. Sending love to all the superhero mothers out there. A big hug to all the women who have been pregnant during this challenging time. “
The post features lil Papa Bear in a series of designer threads because, of course, he is. In one photo he wears Burberry and in another he wears Versace. The photo gallery ends with a short video of Papa Bear that is too cute for words.
So far, the only glimpse we’ve seen of Papa Bear was a close-up of his foot. She also tweeted an audio message of him making baby sounds.
“Say hello to Barbz, daddy bear,” Minaj said, referring to a fan’s scream as her son made sounds on the recording. “What are you doing ‘? Say something’!”

Although the new mom has been quiet about the details about her son, she recently took to Twitter to answer a ton of questions about her pregnancy.
“ He used to kick me so hard every night at the same time if I didn’t get up and walk with him. I had a complete personality in my stomach and knew how to get away with it. It was so intriguing to me. He does the same now, ” he revealed in a tweet.
