According to French sports newspaper L’Equipe and the New York Times, which cited people familiar with the matter, the other two players are Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes, although PSG declined to confirm their identities to CNN.

French media said the three companions tested positive after returning from vacation in Ibiza, Spain.

Neymar touches the Champions League trophy after losing in the final to Bayern Munich.

Neymar, along with the other two players, now faces the prospect of missing the start of the 2020/21 PGS season, which kicks off on September 10 when he travels to face Lens.

The French national league season is already underway, but the start of PGS has been delayed due to the team’s streak in the Champions League.

There are strict Ligue 1 protocols that require players who have tested positive for the virus to self-isolate.

Neymar is the most expensive footballer in the world and signed with PSG for 263 million dollars from Barcelona in 2017.
The Brazilian, as well as Di María and Paredes, were part of the PSG team that lost in the Champions League final to Bayern Munich in Lisbon last month.
