Samsung has just released the second beta version of One UI 3.0 Android 11 for the Galaxy S20 in the US The second beta update includes the firmware version G98xU1UEU1ZTJG and Galaxy S20 owners participating in the public beta testing phase should now be able to download it over the air.
The latest update weighs in at around 576MB and includes the October 2020 security patch, although that is to be expected given that the same level of security was included in the previous update. But more importantly, the new version fixes a handful of issues that came to light in the first beta of One UI 3.0.
Enhancements to DeX, storage, camera and more
A UI 3.0 beta 2 for the Galaxy S20 series in the US should fix an issue that prevented the phone from starting normally when internal storage was full. Similarly, you should fix an issue that causes the phone to reboot when receiving a call.
Samsung also fixed a bug that prevented users from viewing photos within Gallery if the files were stored on the microSD card. Also, users should now be able to change the font size in DeX without encountering any errors, and no network errors should occur when receiving MMS. Samsung also mentioned improvements to the quick panel and the camera.
