Samsung is rolling out new One UI 3.0 beta updates every other day, apparently. He shipped one just three days ago with a handful of fixes. There is already another beta update of the Galaxy S20 One UI 3.0 today. It does bring some bug fixes, but that’s not the most surprising thing about this update.
The amazing thing is that it comes with the security patch for the month of December 2020. It’s only been a few days since Samsung actually started shipping the November 2020 patch for eligible devices. It is only moving forward for this beta update.
New One UI 3.0 beta update now available
The speed that Samsung shows here is certainly impressive. It is trying to wrap up the beta program quickly so One UI 3.0 can be released for everyone. The company has previously said that the Galaxy S20 lineup will be updated to One UI 3.0 before the end of this year.
Samsung has released One UI 3.0 beta update with firmware version G98xxXXU5ZTKA in the UK and Germany today, and other markets where the beta program is ongoing should receive it soon. The change log lists all the bugs that have been fixed. They include expanding the navigation gesture recognition area, a fixed pop-up view when sliding the edge lighting pop-up, and more.
One UI 3.0 beta testers in other markets should expect to receive this latest update in the near future. Samsung will also gradually implement it. There is little reason to believe that the company may not meet the self-imposed deadline for the public release of One UI 3.0. So we could all be wearing the latest version of your custom skin in a few weeks.
