The CPU looks good, going back to ARM’s core design, without the stupid M3 / 4/5 core.
The problem is the GPU.
Kirin9000 has G78MP24 GPU (24 G78 cores) running at 725MHz. Performance is equal to Sn888 but needs twice the power compared to Sn888 (4.8 watts for Sn888, 8 watts for Kirin9000)
The GPU in the exynos 2100 has 14 G78 cores, more less than Kirin9000, so Samsung will use an even higher clock for close GPU performance.
That will make the chip too hot in games.

Tbh, I don’t care about CPU performance anymore, which geekbench shows, since most upper mid-range chips already have enough CPU power, the GPU matters a lot more and that’s what exynos should pay attention to and greatly improve over the exynos 990.

well that’s not true and it shows that you don’t know anything. Like I said, look for sm-g996b on geekbench, the exynos 2100 has been geekbenched many times and it’s there. When geekbench runs on any device, it loads on servers.
As for his second point, he says that geekbench is unreliable without evidence. Just because your device doesn’t win doesn’t mean the test isn’t fair – Android users always try to blame the LOL tool. Even Qualcomm used geekbench for its benchmarks.

Pretty good. Hope you don’t have any thermal issues from having this high score. So the only thing Exynos lags behind Snapdragon is the GPU.
In my opinion, competing is the premise to grow. Snapdragon has their monopoly for too long that they put the price of their high-end chipset in the sky. Things can change if this 2100 is on par with 888. The more they compete with each other, the more profit we get. So we don’t have to be harsh. Just sit there and see what they will do.

Your iPhone scores are useless as GeekBench is not a reliable cross-platform benchmark tool.
Do you really think Apple is as fast as GeekBench claims in the real world?

Well this is good. I hope Samsung can improve on its mid-range exynos as well.
Nowadays SD> Exynos> MTK is generally a rule. Perhaps this will change later in the future.
