With the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 Seemingly around the corner, Keanu Reeves has shared his experiences working on the long-awaited game in a new video.
During the final episode of Night city wire, CD Projekt RED and Reeves, who plays the enigmatic terrorist and rock star Johnny Silverhand, dived deeply into his contributions to the game.
“I had the opportunity to do overdubs several times, I worked on a cartoon, I did some documentaries, but I’ve never done so much,” says Reeves, giving players a hint of how involved the actor is with the game.
As well as showing a behind-the-scenes look at the motion capture work he had to do for the game, Reeves also delved into Johnny Silverhand’s psyche. “You can see Johnny as the rock star, you hear about his military past and he’s fighting for his survival. So he has all these things that lead up to this guy moment, ”Reeves said.
“It’s kind of an interpretation, because I think we all have a Johnny Silverhand. He has a lot of energy, has a good sense of humor, although sometimes a little dark, “he added. “He is very passionate, he cares. He’s a bit naive, but he’s also very experienced in life. He certainly has an appetite for life. “

Reeves also spoke about the variety of player options: “You have a lot of freedom, so many different paths that you can play on. But it’s not just about trail hunting, it’s like ‘Who are you? How do you want to play the character? ‘”
“There is real drama to the game, there is a lot at stake emotionally, then there are lighter sides. Of course, there is the music, the production design, technologically cutting edge. I don’t think there is a game like that, yes, it’s intense ”, he adds.
In other Cyberpunk 2077 news, physical copies of the game have started leaking ahead of its December 10 release date. The PS4 cover reveals that the game includes 2 Blu-Ray discs, stickers, postcards, a world compendium, a game map, and additional digital content.
