(Pocket-lint) – Motorola may have announced the first two parts of its Moto G9 line recently, the Moto G9 and the G9 Play, but it stayed behind the phones’ big brother, the Moto G9 Plus.
That was undermined earlier this week by a major leak from Orange Slovakia that provided us with details of what appeared to be the full list of phone specs, and Motorola followed it quite sensibly in confirming the existence of the phone and the specs in yes.
The G9 Plus is, as it seems, the largest of the G9 series with a 6.8-inch screen to the 6.5 of the other two phones, and it has a resolution of 1080p on that screen.
It has a quad camera setup, as is very fashionable, with a 64MP main lens, an ultra-wide-angle shooter, a macro lens, and a depth sensor; that’s also the arrangement that budget phones are favoring right now, if they opt for a four-camera system. The selfie camera is a 16MP shooter.
It’s powered by a Snapdragon 730G, which is a little boost over the standard G9 and G9 Play, and it has 4G connectivity, so there’s no cheap 5G here, but a 5000mAh battery should suffice, making the G9 Power another Moto phone for those who want a long battery life.
The phone has been announced and launched in Brazil on stands, priced at around £ 330, which makes us suspect that it might cost less in other markets, given that the Slovak leak had it closer to around £ 330. £ 230 in Europe. which more directly mimics the price of the old Moto G8 Plus.
Availability and pricing in other regions has yet to be confirmed, but hopefully we’ll hear more on that front soon.
