Motorola will unveil two new smartphones, named Edge and Edge +, later today through an online event that will begin at 11 a.m. CDT (4 p.m. UTC). The company hasn’t officially revealed anything about these smartphones yet, but we’ve heard a lot of rumors and now a last-minute leak reveals the full specs and price of the Plus variant.

The Motorola Edge + is powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC and has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of on-board UFS 3.0 storage. Run Android 10 out of the box and you will only receive a major update to the Android version which is a bummer.

The Edge + has a 6.7 “perforated OLED FullHD + 90Hz display with curved edges and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W and 15W wireless charging. The smartphone also comes with 5W reverse wireless charging so you can use it to enhance others devices.

In terms of images, the Edge + features a 108MP main camera that is paired with 16MP and 8MP ultra-wide telephoto modules. For selfies and video calls, there is a 25MP unit in the front.

The Motorola Edge + will support 5G networks, will cost $ 1,000, and will be sold exclusively through Verizon.

Meanwhile, a promotional video for the Edge + shared by trustworthy filter Evan Blass confirms that the smartphone will also feature stereo speakers and an on-screen fingerprint scanner. You can see the clip below.

Blass also shared a promotional video for the Vanilla Edge, confirming that the smartphone will include a 90Hz curved edge screen with a fingerprint reader underneath and a hole in the upper left corner for the 25MP selfie camera.

The Motorola Edge, like the Plus variant, comes with stereo speakers and a triple camera setup on the back, but the main 108MP camera is replaced by a 64MP unit.

The Motorola Edge will also support 5G networks, and although the clip does not reveal the size of the battery, Motorola claims that the cell will have up to two days of resistance. The video is attached below.
