Microsoft, Microsoft teams, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft teams down, Outlook down, Microsoft service outrageMicrosoft’s core services, including Outlook, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams, experienced an outage Tuesday morning.

Microsoft’s core services like Teams and Office 365 are back for the “majority of users” after a worldwide outage. Hundreds of users reported problems with the services in the early hours of Tuesday (IST), but are back online.

“Most services are now recovered for most users,” reads a notice on Microsoft’s Office status page on Twitter. “We continue to see a small subset of customers whose tenants are in the North America region that are still affected. We are now investigating mitigation steps for those customers that are still affected. “

Microsoft’s official Office 365 Twitter account noticed the outage at 3:14 am IST, claiming then that “a problem is being investigated affecting access to multiple Microsoft 365 services.” At 3:42 a.m., the company blamed a recent service update for causing the outage.

“Users may not be able to access any services that leverage Azure Active Directory (AAD), including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Teams Live Events, as well as Office.com. Additionally, the Power Platform and Dynamics365 properties are also affected by this incident, ”Microsoft said in a status update on its website.

An annoyed user wrote on Twitter: “This is not a photo of fires or riots in the United States. It’s an outage map of people impacted by Microsoft servers not working … Big outage! Things that make you say “hmmmm!”
