Microsoft Outlook is down all over the world

Microsoft’s Outlook service is down worldwide, affecting Outlook on the web, Outlook.com, and Outlook on desktop and mobile computers. The outage began around 2 a.m. ET, and Microsoft has confirmed that it is affecting users around the world. Currently, Outlook users cannot access their email and Outlook.com does not load.

“We are collecting additional data from the affected infrastructure to assist in our investigation to determine the cause of the impact,” says a support update from Microsoft. The outage appears to have been caused by a recent change by Microsoft. “We are reviewing recent changes to our service to further determine the cause of the impact,” he says. This is the second major Microsoft service outage in less than a week. On Monday, Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, Teams, and other services had problems for hours.
