Although some states and parts of the world are beginning to reopen, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization still urge people to wear face masks and non-medical covers when outside the home.
These are different from the N95 or even baggy surgical masks. They can be reusable fabric masks, scarves, scarves, or any other fabric (such as cotton, silk, and linen) that helps protect you from large particles and droplets. They should cover their nose and mouth, and they should be washed with hot water and dried at high temperatures between uses to kill bacteria and viruses.
If your business plans to reopen soon, or you’re preparing to return to work, here is a selection of professional-looking, non-medical face masks and face covers that are best suited for the workplace. But be sure to follow the latest guidelines on hygiene and social distancing, in addition to the masks, as you navigate the new normal post-COVID-19.
