Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales review

Side missions are more or less attractive because you need to accumulate points to unlock new skills, gadget upgrades, and outfits. It won’t send you on a side mission frenzy to unlock the necessary unlockables, but you will get one or two on your way simply by scouring the city as you head to the main mission area. I never took the fast trip because of how beautiful the game is. Going to the destination is an absolute pleasure and I was slamming the screenshot and Photo Mode options here, more than any other game I’ve played in 2020.

We ran the game on PS4 Pro and the game looks absolutely amazing. No ray trace occurs here. That’s reserved for the PS5 hardware to handle, but even on the PS4 Pro the game looks detailed and ostentatious. Miles’s iconic black and red suit is so detailed and well crafted that it seems like the PS4 Pro’s hardware can still deliver a good gaming experience even after the PS5 launch.

Although, the new PS5 controller will give a better haptic feedback hiss by swinging and fighting, but my goodness, it looks so pretty on our benchmark BenQ HDR monitor in 4K. We recommend playing in HDR because the snowflakes in the environment and the beautiful sunsets come to life.
