It’s been a pretty interesting few weeks for the odds and ends of the PlayStation milestones. In the wake of news that Fall boys has become the most downloaded PlayStation Plus game of all time, Square Enix has announced that the beta version of Marvel Avengers It also managed to set a record across the entire PlayStation.
Neither PlayStation nor Square Enix have shared exact numbers, but a tweet from the latter says that the beta version of Marvel Avengers It has now become the most downloaded beta in PlayStation history.
The game ran a closed beta to preorder PlayStation 4 users from August 7-9, then followed by a PlayStation 4 open beta (and an Xbox and PC closed beta) from August 14 to August 16 and a open version for all platforms. beta from August 21 to August 23.
Platform-specific download statistics have not been shared, but Square Enix noted in a blog post last week that the game saw more than 6 million beta players and “tens of millions of hours” played across all platforms and beta weekends.
