Manny Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, believes the Philippine senator will have a quiet night in the ring if he takes on Conor McGregor.
While McGregor has wanted to take on Pacquiao on Twitter, Freddie Roach has also taken to social media, citing that he is an easier fight than Ricky Hatton. However, fight fans disagree with that.
Many people believe that Conor McGregor can have a difficult time for Manny Pacquiao, as he did with Floyd Mayweather in 2017. However, Roach does not believe that will happen against Pac-Man.
Is Conor McGregor an easy fight for Manny Pacquiao?
Pacquiao faced Ricky Hatton in 2009 and emerged victorious with an impressive KO in the second round. The Filipino superstar had a quiet night at work when he began to dominate his rival from the first round.
If this is true, @Manny Pacquiao he will have a better time with you @MMANews that when he fought @HitmanHatton https://t.co/6lnRGiggcv

After controlling Hatton’s courage in the first round, Pacquiao sealed the victory by knockout in the second. So when Roach considers McGregor an easier fight than Hatton, he’s hinting at an early KO.
Meanwhile, McGregor suffered a 10th round knockout loss to Floyd Mayweather in his boxing debut. Although he pitched hard against his undefeated rival, McGregor couldn’t keep up.
As the rounds went by, McGregor fell prey to Floyd’s defense and skill. In round 10, ‘The Notorious’ had nothing more to offer against Floyd’s action. Therefore, the referee ended the contest in favor of Mayweather by TKO.
That said, another professional career loss may hamper McGregor’s relevance in the boxing community. While a blockbuster event against Pacquiao will generate huge pay-per-view sales alongside massive paychecks, it will also put McGregor’s dominance on the line.
After retiring from the UFC with a shocking tweet, Conor McGregor is nowhere near news of the fight. So you can reshape your combat sports career by defeating Pacquiao in one of the biggest fights of your journey. However, following Pac-Man’s resume and Freddie Roach’s comments, McGregor can’t afford to take it lightly.
If all goes according to plan, McGregor and Pacquiao will meet later this year.
