Apple WWDC 21: It looks like we will see iOS 15 in June
This story is part of WWDC 2021. All the latest coverage from Apple’s annual developer conference.
Apple’s annual builders convention is coming up. The iPhone maker sent invitations to its annual developer-centric event on Tuesday, WWDC, the place where you normally display the following for your iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, and other software program platforms (this is what we all know so far about iOS 15). Historically held in early June, this year’s all-virtual event will take place June 7-11.
Typically an in-person affair that draws thousands of people to Silicon Valley, WWDC’s 2021 model will follow the lead from last year’s convention and be streamed online. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 WWDC was the first to be streamed entirely online, and Apple also postponed the occasion for later in the month.

This year’s convention, which Apple will stream free to all builders, comes as the company is apparently gearing up for another year. With rumors of new iPhones, iPads, Macs, and AirPods, large electronics are in the midst of a transition from Intel processors to their personal chips for your Mac computer systems, a WWDC course presented for the first time and finally the year. Apple can also be rumored to be involved in a variety of newer products, from digital reality and augmented reality headsets to autonomous cars.
While some of these initiatives should take a couple of years, some kind of headset might arrive as soon as next year and the company may poke fun at some of their work in an effort to push developers’ application concepts.
