Liverpool legend Phil Thompson asks for a team update to match Manchester City

Liverpool legend Phil Thompson has asked the Reds to sign striker Timo Werner this summer, and he believes it may be time to upgrade at Divock Origi.

The German leader has been regularly linked with a move to Anfield this summer, with reports suggesting that the striker has a £ 52 million release clause in his contract at Red Bull Leipzig.
