(Pocket-lint) – LG has announced three affordable K-series phones that offer decent specs for their tier.
The LG K62 is a 6.6-inch HD + device, with a 2.3GHz octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM.
It comes with 128GB of storage and a microSD card slot for expansion up to 2TB more.
Its rear camera has a quad-lens setup, with a standard 48-megapixel sensor, 5-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel depth, and 2-megapixel macro camera. Its front camera is housed in a drill hole in the top center and offers 28 megapixels.
There is a 4,000 mAh battery inside.
Going down the ladder a bit, the LG K52 is also a 6.6-inch device with an HD + display and comes with similar rear camera, processor, RAM and battery size specs.
However, it reduces the internal storage to 64 GB and the punch-hole front camera is 13 megapixels.
Lastly, the LG K42 has a slight drop in processor – 2.0GHz octa-core – and RAM – 3GB.
The screen is the same as that of its stable companions, while the internal storage is 64 GB similar to that of the K52. The battery is also the same.
However, the camera drops considerably in specs. You get a quad camera on the rear again, but with the main sensor up to 13 megapixels.
The perforated front camera is 8 megapixels.
All three phones will be available in Europe “next month” (October) and will then launch in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
Pricing has yet to be confirmed.
