League of Legends Wild Rift Beta Release Window Announced

Riot Games has revealed the upcoming League of Legends Wild Rift Open Beta release window.

It will be available in a variety of countries in just a few weeks.

The open beta will launch for the first time on Tuesday, October 27 in the following countries:

  • Indonesia
  • Japan
  • Malaysia
  • Philippines
  • Singapore
  • South Korea
  • Thailand

Rest of the world

The EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region, other parts of Asia and Oceania will be next on the list, and Riot is set to launch the open beta in early December.

This will include

  • Europe
  • Middle East
  • North Africa
  • Oceania
  • Russia
  • Taiwan
  • Turkey
  • Vietnam

As for North and South America, it seems that those in the western Atlantic will have to wait until the new year.

The open beta is scheduled to arrive in the United States in the spring of 2021, and then all remaining regions (for example, Central and Southern Africa) will be available thereafter.

Developer update

The schedules were confirmed by Riot Games Executive Producer Michael Chow in the video above.

Chow talked about the successes of the Closed Beta (which launched on September 16) and that Riot has taken the feedback from the community into account as they move towards Open Beta.
