Players no longer have to worry about cold chicken (if that was a problem they really had).
There are a lot of things video game consoles can do these days, but even the newest PlayStation or X-Box can’t cook food. While consoles generally get a little warm after running for hours, they are not yet designed to warm chickens. – and it probably wouldn’t be good to cover yourself in grease and crumbs.
CHRISTMAS DAY: HERE ARE THE RESTAURANTS, STORES OPEN
But all that is about to change: KFC and Cooler Master, a manufacturer of computer hardware, they have revealed the KFConsole specifications. While the device has the ability to output 4K graphics and display 240 frames per second, it is also designed with a slot to keep chicken pieces warm while on.
“Never risk letting your chicken cool down again thanks to the patented chicken chamber,” writes Cooler Master on his website. “Using the system’s natural heat and airflow system, you can now focus on your game and enjoy hot, crispy chicken between rounds.”

No specific details have been released on when or where the device will be available. It is also unclear whether or not this device is a console (similar to the PlayStation or Xbox) or if it is more of a gaming PC with a built-in chicken heating slot.
KFC originally teased the console again Twitter in June of this year, although at the time it was unclear if the restaurant chain was kidding.

This is not KFC’s first foray into video games. In September 2019, Fox News reported that KFC had developed a video game called “I Love You, Colonel Sanders.” The objective of the game was to advance through a simulated culinary school. Also, the player had to try to woo Colonel Sanders, because, of course, they did.
